Book Review

“Conquer Yourself” is a handy book for personal development. It is like a descriptive checklist with dos and don’ts to build one’s personality. The book covers interesting topics like “Sense of Humour” in chapter 02, “Gain Wisdom” in chapter 04 and “The Art of Storytelling” in chapter 07 of part 1.

Moving further into the book one would find a chapter emphasising the magic of Subconcious Mind. Part 2 of the book is about bulding self-confidence. Part 2 covers different spheres of growth in confidence like dealing with being judged, being criticised and overcoming fear.

The book provides an overall learning of work-life balance proving itself very much to be a self-development book. The last part of the book is interesting enough like all the other parts which elevates on emotional intelligence and mindfulness in life and living.

The penultimate chapter is dedicated to lessons from Bhagwad Gita.
This handy book is a must have for students and professionals.
